NDN is in Amsterdam through the weekend and I got a funny email from him this morning:
(The first part of the letter won't make sense to anyone b/c it involves a nickname that NDN has for me, so I'm cutting it out, but whatever... Oh, and he calls me "Judy" in this email... That's not my name. More to do with that "nickname" joke.)

......HAHAHA. You get it, right? High from Haarlem? Ive been waiting to write that line for a long time now.
A few cultural - and engliish languade descrepancies that exist here:
After people give you directions and send you on your way they say "good luck" I HATE that, it scares the shit out of me. makes me think there is going to be a fire breathing dragon or something along the way! I also hate when people say "Straight on" instead of "straight ahead."
BUT EVERYTHING ELSE HERE FUCKIN ROCKS! I love this place. Bars. Drugs. Easy Women. You would like it here JUDY. The porn shops here are VERY intense. real hardcore shit. Anyway, you should probably save this letter as it will be really funny to read looking back on it. OR. it will be like this guy thinks he's really funny, buy he's not.
Only time will tell.

So it looks like someone is having fun. I, on the other hand, am still sick and I have to go to Anxious' birthday party tonight. It makes me think of her birthday last year when she stayed over my house, stripped down (bra and all) and thrust out her breasts while I was trying to grade papers. She said that it was hot out that day. (I think she was trying to make a point about her large breasts.) I'll have to elaborate on that story another time. In any case, I'm hoping to feel better by tonight. A lot of my old college friends will be around.

I've heard Amsterdam is the bomb from many different friends, some of whom didn't even use drugs at the time. If I ever make it back to Europe, that's on my (short) list of places to see.
Give my best to NDN and have fun at the party. Being sick + partying isn't much fun, I know. Maybe have a couple of screwdrivers for the Vitamin C?
HELLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOO. Yes it is me, NDN. Posting on Hyde's blog from Europe. High from Asterdam ths time, not Haarlem. Wow, H, doesn't this REALLY make me part of a blog community now? I mean, checking someone's blog when you're out of the country. kinda sick. well, not like other people, because they LIVE out of the country. I guess i just needed my Hyde drama fix. I've been eating so much here. go figure. the food is great. there is someone at the hostel who looks like Jesus. Kinda really freaks me out. H-I've gotten some really cool souvenirs and toys here. Well,not the toys you are thinking of. mind out of the gutter H, mind out! anyway, I am riding my bike around amsterdam trying to get lost on purpose, its the most fun that way.
