You CAN'T get him a present... Not ANY present... especially not one that costs over $100. Put it out of your mind and get through the next week with your bank account in tact. Fight it off. You shouldn't even write a card.

You know what, Hyde. I think you are strong enough to give or not give to whomever you like without our two cents on the matter. I hope that whatever you decide, your holiday is absolutely wonderful.

Spend that money on yourself or someone who really needs help. What you need to ask yourself, would he do it for you?
Honestly, I don't see a problem with a card. But a gift...especially a costly one...would be pretty silly.
