I'm in a delerious mood and so is Hammer. We're supposed to go to a seminar about "Common Sense." Neither of us has any. I really don't want to go. I mean, c'mon... It's spring; it's the first day that I'm feeling better; and I want to bust out of these shackles.
"Uh, oh... Hyde!" Hammer just said.
PS: I have an ear infection.

On Common Sense:
I was persuaded to attend the seminar after all, and to ignore the beckoning mischief of Spring. The paper that was presented was about Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" and the idea of "common sense" as part of the "epistemology of modern politics." Hammer and I ended up skipping out on the dinner after the talk, instead going out on our own. Later, we made it into a "girls night in" with a movie back at my place. Now it's almost 1:00 am and I've got to get to sleep if I'm going to survive teaching in the morning. This comment is turning into more of a post, so I'd do best to say "good night."
