I know it must hurt, but don't forget some of the cruel quotes Narc has told you over this past year. Everyone tends to gloss over the bad when they remember ex-es. I still tend to remember the bright side of mine, even though we had some bad times ourselves.

That is what I've been struggling with for the past few weeks. Last night I *burned* to contact Palmer, but I knew it would be worse if I did.

Hmm, I had another thought about this issue: it's probably not a good idea to try and "forget" about Narc. Instead, it would be better if you remembered the time you have spent together (good and bad). After all, those who forget (or ignore) the past are doomed to repeat it.
